Just wanted to point out that sneaking around humming the tune to mission impossible is usually not a very good idea!

Do you want to get paid to shop?
Do you want to get paid to eat in a restaurant?
Do you want to get paid to go to the cinema?
Do you want to get paid to go clubbing?
Do you want to get paid for making a telephone enquiry?
Do you want to help improve standards for your local shops and services?
If you become a mystery shopper it is possible to get paid for these things as well as other everyday activities.

There are many websites you can sign up with but I have listed a few of the main ones below.
Different websites/ companies have different procedures for applications. Sometimes you just need to fill in a form and read a few things, other times you have to do tests and even interviews, usually on the phone.
The key thing to being a mystery shopper is to not let anyone working at the shop or service know you are a mystery shopper. This means you may need to think very fast on your feet so as to not get detected.
You do need a little time to do them and it is useful to have your own transport but this is not a necessity depending on where you live.
You do need to be fairly organised, have a good memory and able to pay attention to small details. You can not carry around a clip board to make notes!
Before going on an assignment you will be given instructions of what to observe and what to do. You’ll need to memorise them before the assignment.
You will be told ask certain questions or buy certain things.
You will therefore need to have the confidence to ask sales assistants and employees questions.
You will get reimbursed for any products or services you buy.
Some will also pay you travel expenses.
You will be given the details of the assignment offered before you agree to do it, this means you can do as many or little as you like, and only do the ones you feel comfortable doing.
After each assignment you often need to fill in questionnaires, write a report or report back on the phone.
You usually get paid £5 -
However, I Have heard of some big tasks paying people between £200 and £300, these ones usually take whole days or go over a period of several weeks/months. These are quite rare though.
You can not give up your day job because the amount you get paid and the amount of assignments you can do does change a lot and sometimes not very regular. It does depend on the area you live though.
